So, I was going through some old posts in the archives, and I'm astounded at how far I've come. I started this in 2010 with a small song library, now it's 2012 and I've learned of more music than I had thought there was back then. I mean, I knew of the bands and their music, but now I've got this entire computer filled with over a month of music, and that's not counting what's just on my Droid. This was one of those days that just didn't amount to anything. So fuck it.
Readers, do any of you have a song of the day?

No Bed of Broken Glass
Well I'm back. It was a quite a break wasn't it? Did you have fun? I had a little fun. Experimented a bit, I'm paying for it now, but for the few hours that everything went perfectly I had fun. Then we deviated from the plan, the others couldn't sit still. They weren't patient, they weren't truly prepared for what we were doing. But, it's all over and done with now, and we all have to pay the price for our actions. I'm facing expulsion from school district, Rocket and Bass Man are just grounded with In School Suspension. Bass Man blamed himself a little bit, so did Rocket, but they have no reason to. It was my plan, I was supposed to be a leader, I gave in to their want to get out and move around. I should have been persistent when I said we shouldn't, I should have said no. But I'm too nice. I'm too cooperative. It was my plan, and I failed them. I was gonna get us out of here. I had a plan to get us out, and it failed. I failed. But that's past, over, and done, so all that's left to do is get everything fixed, and to move on to today. So let's start with a song.
The Song of The Day is No Bed of Broken Glass by This Time Next Year, from the Warped Tour 2010 Compilation, Disc 2. You should look it up, or better yet, just go out and buy the set. There's only a couple songs that I wouldn't recommend at all. Ever. But those songs are by bands that I don't particularly like anyway. Like ATTACK! ATTACK! or Shiragirl. ugh.... I think I just threw up a little in my mouth thinking about their music. But anyway, look up the song. Some of you will understand the relevance to the daily and current events, some of you will not, and the rest of you will be too distracted by the righteous music to even think.

Both Sides of The Story
So, the only thing on this that actually relates to the day so far is the chorus. The song is Both Sides of the Story by We Are The In Crowd, and I am really loving my typing skills today, I've only had to use the backspace button like twice so far! But anyway, the song is a duet, which as far as I know means there's two vocal parts. I don't know the singers names, but it's a good song. The chorus is "I found out finding out isn't the worst part
Don't believe it's just me
And I've found out
Do you really even have a clue?
You're not quite Satan, but I really think I hate you"
Don't believe it's just me
And I've found out
Do you really even have a clue?
You're not quite Satan, but I really think I hate you"
And another beautiful work of copy and paste from smartlyrics.com. I think it's about finding out that whoever you're with is cheating on you. Now, cheating is never okay. And I believe that if you have feelings for any other person while you're in a relationship is cheating. But that's not what relates to the day. The "I found out finding out isn't the worst part" could be applied to virtually any information. I found out I can't sing. I listened to a recording of myself, and I SUCK. So I''m led to believe that if what I hear is bad then what everyone else heard can only be worse. Did the size of the font seriously get smaller? what the fuck? Okay, that's better. So anyway, I've decided to stop trying to sing. And finding out isn't the worst part, it's knowing. So yeah. Song of the Day is Both Sides Of The Story by We Are The In Crowd, a song they performed at the 2010 Warped Tour, which I encourage you to buy the cd for, some great songs on there, and some not so great ones.
So readers, what's your song of the day?

DT Killer
For the shear awesomeness of this song, it gets song of the day. It's from the Warped Tour 2010 cd. Yeah shut up, I just got it and there's a lot of good music on it so if a lot of music comes from it, get over it. It's by Neo Geo. Looking at the profile on the band from Sugerbuzz Magazine (I don't fucking know, that's what I got from google ok?), Neo Geo apparently means "New Earth", the chick singing is called Rainy, with Andy on bass Ryan on the Keyboard and Nick on drums. I haven't heard of them before the cd, but I'm definitely looking up more of their music later. The song of the day is DT Killer by Neo Geo. The song is about killing some dude because he pissed her off. That's the feeling I'm getting. I'd hate to be this guy. I mean a) he's a dumbass for letting a chick that looks and sounds like Rainy does get mad at him. b) she could probably get the other band members to help her. c) she has a fucking knife! that shits silent!!! Seriously though "I loved you, but who knew, that I loved killing too", that was the thing that hooked me on this song. Then I started looking into the lyrics even more, and I couldn't stop listening to it. It's actually kind of hard not to sing to, even though the singer, Rainy, is a chick. I'm really looking forward to seeing this bands rise. So, now I ask you readers, what's your song of the day?
