Untitled

The Song of The Day is Untitled by Simple Plan.
So in court there's this thing that lawyers and such can do. If a comment offends somebody and they yell out "objection" or whatever the hell else they say, the offending lawyer-person can say "withdrawn." Which is basically saying "Ohshit I take it back!" So they can legally do that, but nobody else can. Why not? Why do they have the power to take back the bad things they've done, have them stricken from their record, and the regular folks like us can't? "Oh well they worked hard to get where they are in life to be able to exercise that ability in court." Shut the fuck up. They worked hard? So according to you nobody else in the world works hard enough, even those that work harder (factory workers, miners, gun-smiths and such), to be able to use this magical ability that lets you take things off the record? Well fuck, I withdraw everything I did that caused Smiley-the-judge to put a no-contact order on Rocket and I. All better? What's that? No? There's still a no-contact order. OH I KNOW! They have to hear me say it.
Readers, what's your song of the day? A pointless question as I will not get a response, so I guess that makes in an unintentionally rhetorical question. That's fucking great.

I'm Just A Kid

I'm done with hope, because hoping for things only leads to disappointment and the realization of how impossible your objective was in the first place, which then leads to sadness. So hope=sadness. In what could be my last Song of The Day for a while, I plan to say a lot. I won't, but I plan to.
The Song of The Day is I'm Just A Kid by Simple Plan, that's what I am, just a kid. In the eyes of my parents, in the eyes of the world, in the eyes of everyone I'm just a stupid kid. That's not going to be how they see me tomorrow though, tomorrow they'll just see a person who committed a crime or two. They won't see a kid, which isn't fair. A lot of it isn't fair or doesn't make sense though. You all tell us that as teenagers we need to start acting like adults, but refuse to stop treating us as children. Then when we start acting responsible and trying to be more adult you tell us that we have to appreciate the time we have because once we turn 18 nothing is fun anymore. Nothing is fun right now. I literally have one fun day a week if I'm lucky, and the only reason that it's fun is because I get to spend time with Rocket. Which doesn't happen very often anymore because I got expelled and my stepfather doesn't like her for absolutely no reason what-so-fucking-ever. He's trying to be nicer though, I know he is. He just really sucks at it, really. The point is that no matter what happens tomorrow, it won't feel right. Rocket, Dmitri, and I could get away with no punishment whatsoever, and I'd only feel more guilty. Or I get sent to juvie and lose my mind. Or get put on probation, which means that they'd try to stop Rocket and I from seeing eachother. I don't care though, even if they are reading this right now, I'd break whatever rules were put in front of me just to see her. I'd break out of wherever they throw me if it meant I could spend time with her more than just once a week. But it wouldn't be a discrete "dig under the ground with a spoon" breakout, I'd start a riot, then all of us would get out. Well, those of us that aren't getting the shit beat out of us or fighting with the officers.
Dmitri says that we probably won't get juvie though. How would he know? It's not like he's been picked up for shit like this before, plus they might be getting me with some federal charges or some bullshit like that, we don't know what they're charging me with because the genius in charge of serving me my summons LOST MY FUCKING PAPERS. Really? Your sole job is delivering some papers to a minor awaiting his court date, and you lose the papers? What kind of a dipshit do you have to be? And this isn't just a day before thing, they told us the papers were missing 3 days ago. So now I'm going in with no fucking clue as what to expect, or how to prepare myself. So I've got to wing it and do whatever the fuck I can to get the least possible punishment for myself, and if possible Rocket. Notice I'm not going to fight for Dmitri. Nope, not after finding out just why the cops stopped to talk to us in the first place. I told him we didn't need to steal anything, but nobody fucking listens to me. If people just listened to me, and had we stuck to my plan, this wouldn't be happening right now. So fuck him, because that's the mood I'm in right now.

Let Go

I tried to narrow what happened yesterday down to one song, and I couldn't do it. Too many thoughts, too many feelings, not enough words. So I made a playlist today while I was lying in bed all day. It is as follows;

Sing For The Moment by Eminem
Somewhere I Belong by Linkin Park
I'm Just A Kid by Simple Plan
I Just Wanna Run by The Downtown Fiction
Lights Out by Mindless Self Indulgence

That's about it. I don't know what today's song of the day will be, but that covers yesterday.

Jump

When do you reach the point where you decide to tell the world to fuck off because you're having a good time? When you're zoned out to a song on the radio? When you're baked out of your mind? Exploring with friends? Or just sitting around, hanging out and watching anime at 1 in the morning? I don't know exactly when I reached this point, but "fuck tomorrow I just wanna jump." Not off a building or anything suicidal like that, just jump. Like on a trampoline or some shit. So the Song of The Day (for April 14, cuz it's technically the 15 right now) is Jump by Simple Plan. I was going to go with the Van Halen song of the same name, but I already had Simple Plan on file and I'm a lazy bastard so suck it up and read on. I don't really know all the lyrics to the song, but the chorus gets straight to the damn point. "FUCK TOMORROW", I've decided to try making as few plans as possible for the future, and just go along with what happens. Still going to try to call Rocket everyday, still going to make plans with friends and shit, but all future plans? Any hopes of wasting life away at something that shall never be achieved through anything but luck? Fuck it. Let's everyone just go along with whatever comes. So, yeah. I thought I had more to say (once again), but I lost it somewhere in the depths of my mind.

Welcome To My Life

WHOA. I'm back, and a lot has changed since my extended absence. Blogger got a new look, the Facebook Timeline became mandatory, Rocket and I almost broke up (but we didn't), and I'm not depressed anymore. Yeah, you read that last part right. From now on I shall try to be only a positive thinker. "But Virus, why is your Song of The Day something depressing then?" Shut-up, be patient. I'm getting to that.
The Song of The Day is Welcome To My Life by Simple Plan. Because for the last week, aside from 2 days ago, that song fit perfectly into everything that I was feeling. I'm pretty sure that if I didn't have my Mother on my side and helping me work shit out, I would've punched a hole through my wall and broken both my hands. Just sayin'.
Anyway, I'm back, shit's changed for the better, and I want to world to know that I love Rocket. Not that any of you know who that is. Okay, some of you know who that is, but only if you know me. Which I can guarantee that most of my readers do. Oh well.

Thank You

Hey, I'm back. Before I get to my post for today, cuz I don't actually have a song for today yet, Here's the songs for the days I was absent.

10/31- This Is Halloween by Panic! At The Disco (Can you guess why?)
11/1- All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around You) by Bullet For My Valentine
11/2- Black Cat by Mayday Parade (I couldn't stop singing it!)
11/4- I Just Wanna Run by The Downtown Fiction
11/5- Ode To Joy by Beethoven (I love V For Vendetta)

Which Brings us to today. November 6th. The Song of The Day is Thank You by Simple Plan. This song, to me, represents how much you can know a person and still know nothing about them. It comes down to one persons word and assumptions against the others, and after that you'll both regret splitting. Whether it be a best friend or a girlfriend/boyfriend, eventually they will betray you in some way. It could be catastrophic, it could be a minor threat to your relationship, or it could be absolutely nothing, but they will all betray your trust, your love, or your friendship. Sure maybe I've got some dark thoughts going on today but I have solid reason. Not something I'm at liberty to share with you currently, as I'm not the one that fucked up this time (GASP! Be surprised, make all your little smart ass comments now while you're still safe from my wrath. FEAR MY WRATH!). Maybe another good song for this is Dirty Little Secret by All-American Rejects, because now you've become just another regret. But whatever. There are those that you can trust, for a while. This makes me wonder how many others have kept our secrets. Like The Girl and Vic, how many have been shared and how many (if any) have been kept? Well, nothing to do now but move on. Tomorrow is another day filled with new experiences, new music, and hopefully new skills.

All Downhill From Here

It's finally done. Today marks the true end of my friendship with The Girl, and I just tossed out the only friendship that I thought would last till.. Well, I just thought it would last. But I said that I was done. It was the most recent conversation (yesterday) that did it. She thought that she didn't matter to me anymore, I guess I showed her how right that was, when it's a lie.
As infants we learn through trial and error. We stick our hand to a hot stove and burn ourselves, we don't do it again. So why did I keep talking to her? If every conversation reminded me of the entire road before it, every mistake and every word I shouldn't've said, every time she hurt me and every time I wanted to make her feel the same pain (guess this works...). Another reason why I'm number one on my list of people to shoot while I'm still alive.
The Song Of The Day is All Downhill From Here by Newfound Glory. "Catalyst, you exist to pull me down. You contradict the fact that you still want me around. And it's all downhill from here.". I suppose it also could've been Addicted by Simple Plan, not for the love song aspect, but because no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't stop texting her. Or wanting to talk to her. It's not love, love is what I feel for Rocket. It was different for The Girl. When I did tell her that I loved her (In Florida, before the incident with Alex. The one name that I don't give a fuck about.), I meant it, and she said that she felt the same way. And not a week later she's going out with Alex. Funny. Her excuse for it (as I understand it) was that she didn't want to get close to me when she was just going to leave. I believe her. Took awhile, but I believe her, not that it matters. Why am I still typing this? Fuck. But back to the infantile logic example. When a person keeps hurting you (on purpose or not), why would you stay around them? So that's why I wanted to end our friendship. Because we would've continued that stupid little cycle of one of us hurting the other again and again. Not only was I sick of being hurt, I don't want to hurt her. So my final "attack" was saying goodbye, which is this. Not 6 hours pass and I'm already regretting it. Too damn proud and logical to go back on it now.

Perfect

To my Father. I'm sorry I forgot your birthday, but think of this as a balance. The year you forgot mine has flipped sides, and I can almost guarantee it won't happen again. I'm also sorry that I didn't stay with you in Pennsylvania. The reason why I left is because I had become what I didn't want to be. Sure, I learned to fight, to defend myself and my friends. I learned about honor and respect. I also learned who I wanted to be. I wanted to be a rocker. Not just another high school sports player. Not the wide receiver who scores the winning touchdowns for the teams. Not the wrestler who sees everyone as another enemy. I wanted to shape myself rather than have somebody else try to shape who I was going to be. Your influence, along with Brandi, David, Alex and Daisy, helped me to decide what is best for myself. I'm not wasting my time by doing what I want, I'm just trying to give you a reason to be proud of your son. And I haven't failed yet. This band is going to work. If I thought I could balance the Band, dating Rocket, sports, and good grades all on the same scale, then I'd try it. But I can't be perfect for everyone. I've tried, and somebody ends up getting hurt, emotionally and physically. I know you disapprove of my musical pursuit, and that I'd rather write poetry and songs rather than play football and watch sports, but our playbooks don't seem to agree. The song Of The Day is Perfect By Simple Plan.

Worst Day Ever

"I feel like I'm living the worst day, I feel like you're gone. And every day is the worst day ever."
A song about missing someone. Perfect. Anyway, my "parents" dyed my hair black today. It's cool. Gonna spike it like fucking Goku from Dragon Ball Z. And not the newer ones towards the Boo Saga, the old ones. Before the art got changed. Winning? I think so.
Readers, what's your song of the day? Mine is Worst Day Ever by Simple Plan.

Music=Life, Me=Missing her a bit more than I should be, considering.

I'd Do Anything

This is one of my favorite songs. From the same Simple Plan album as I'm Just A Kid, No Pads, No Helmets, just Balls. You know something, I'm a coward. Instead of just telling Her to her face, I have to do it on a blog, under a pseudonym. Eventually the song I wrote will get recorded, and put on the radio and everyone will love it. And she'll turn on the radio in the car and hear it, and then there's a 50/50 chance she'd get it or even remember who I am. Anyway, here's the lyrics, I'll be pissed if the font changes again.

Another day is going by
I'm thinking about you all the time
But you're out there
And I'm here waiting

And I wrote this letter in my head
Cuz so many things were left unsaid
But now you're gone
And I can't think straight

This could be the one last chance
To make you understand

I'd do anything
Just to hold you in my arms
To try to make you laugh
Cuz somehow I can't put you in the past
I'd do anything
Just to fall asleep with you
Will you remember me?
Cuz I know
I won't forget you

Together we broke all the rules
Dreaming of dropping out of school
And leave this place
To never come back

So now maybe after all these years
If you miss me have no fear
I'll be here
I'll be waiting

This could be the one last chance to make you understand
And I just can't let you leave me once again

I'd do anything
Just to hold you in my arms
To try to make you laugh
Cuz somehow I can't put you in the past
I'd do anything
Just to fall asleep with you
Will you remember me?
Cuz I know
I won't forget you

I close my eyes
And all I see is you
I close my eyes
I try to sleep
I can't forget you
Nanana (....)
And I'd do anything for you
Nanana (....)

I'd do anything
Just to hold you in my arms
To try to make you laugh
Cuz somehow I can't put you in the past
I'd do anything
Just to fall asleep with you
Will you remember me?
Cuz I know
I won't forget you

I'd do anything
To fall asleep with you
I'd do anything
There's nothing I won't do
I'd do anything
To fall asleep with you
I'd do anything
Cuz I know
I won't forget you

So yeah, In case anybody is wondering where I find the lyrics so I don't have to type them out (I know, lazy hands...), hold that thought. Ok, that's better. I get the lyrics from smartlyrics.com and metrolyrics.com. I think this song could easily be mistaken as some sort of creeper message, I don't mean it that way I assure all of you. "I am so not a raper!" (Fucking Stepbrothers, dumbest movie EVER. Just sayin.). ANYTHING doesn't necessarily mean anything. Like, going psycho or something. That's just not cool. But hey, however you hear it readers. I thought about using The Reason by Hoobastank instead, but a friend of mine said this one would be better. Then I though Hey There Delilah by Plain White T's, but figured that would be stupid. So here's the song of the day. I'd Do Anything by Simple Plan, haven't seen the music video (or if there is one) yet, so yeah.

I'm Just A Kid

When I was younger I used to listen to Simple Plan a lot. Despite the fact that I hated the band, I listened to them every night. Especially after my Grandmothers death. One song in particular I would find the bits that I understood at age 11, and somehow they all reflected something I was feeling. That song was I'm Just A Kid by Simple Plan. I would set that song on repeat and cry myself to sleep because I didn't know then that nothing actually matters. No matter how unfair life is now, or then, or anytime in the future, when you die does it all really matter? I don't think so. One line from this song has always been true though; "I think I've got a lot of friends but I don't hear from them. What's another night all alone, when you're spending every day on your own". But hey, whatever works right? I've got to go try to figure out how to help one of my actual friends, so I'll exit with the question and say Goodnight.

What's your song of the day readers?
