I know this is like my 4th Linkin Park song, but first of all they're my favorite band. Second, their songs are easy for me to relate to. This is the song of the week. I've been contemplating a decision for a while and finally convinced myself that I'm not doing it for me. So I made the decision yesterday. Which is the reason for yesterdays song, which was Bliss (I don't Wanna Know) by Hinder. Because "it" is over. Whatever the hell it is. Anyway, back to my project. "The sacrifice is never knowing why I never walked away, why I played myself this way. Now I see, you're testing me, pushes me away." or "I've lied to you, the same way that I always do. This is the last smile that I'll fake for the sake of being with you.". I want to talk, I want to see You. But although happiness is by far the easiest emotion to fake, it hurts knowing that I have to pretend to be happy with just talking over the phone. Because although you are afraid to be seen with me, you claim to want to talk to me by text (language of the modern age Readers.), when you explained that it's just to keep yourself from being bored. Damn I'm being distracted. I'm not "leaving", you're pushing me away. So now I ask you Readers, what's your song of the Week? I'll post my song of the Day later.

Someone
Let me start with yesterdays song, it was Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold. IT'S YOUR FUCKIN NIGHTMARE!!!! (R.I.P. The Rev). Todays song is one that I got off from the Warped Tour 2002 (stage 2) album. I've never heard of the artist before this, but I'm definitely looking up more of their music. The song sounds like a message, well all songs are messages in their own way, to somebody that the writer trusted at one time. "You can lie all you want, it doesn't matter much to me. I'm not like you anymore" is part of the chorus, but in the beginning of the song there is a part tha makes me think that the writer was manipulated at one point by the person this song is about. But what if the song is for everybody rather than just one person? What if it's meant to be from somebody we deeply care about, but we lie to far too often? We must change our ways if that is so. I'm running short on time again and I'm really disappointed with this and my last few posts. So now I ask you, what's your song of the day?

The Catalyst
OK, so by now you might be sick of Linkin Park songs. Maybe sick of the band in general. They went through like 4 different genres in their entire band history, not counting the Reanimation album. Reanimation was Linkin Park songs redone by other rap artists. X-ecutioner Style is a mix of a few different Linkin Park songs. Anyway, the song of the day is Linkin Park's newly released single The Catalyst. Also soon to be released on the album coming out, or is it already out? I don't know. Kind of out of the Linkin Park circle right now trying to plan a date that I can go see Ozzy on his new North American Arena tour. Cleveland is a slight possibility. Anyway, back to my point. The Catalyst is a song that I find very interesting. The verses repeat twice each time and again in the chorus in between the bridge. My favorite part is the beginning though. "God bless us everyone, we're a broken people living under loaded gun." The loaded gun would be the government in my opinion. Anyway, I'm kind of short on time, so I'll end by asking you what your song of the day is. Again, reason, song, and initials are appreciated.

19-2000 (Soulchild Remix)
The video for this song was kind of hard to find because of idiots posting the video as 19-200 instead of 19-2000. And when I finally did find one it had Spanish and some Asian language subtitles. Keep in mind that this is the Soulchild Remix and not the original 19-2000. I picked this song because it just instantly puts me in a good mood, unlike it's original. It's the beat and speed and words. I'm pretty sure that at some point Noodle says "get the cool shoe shine" and
2-D says "dance to the funk". The video is the cartoon band in a car with Murdoc driving. I guess that the moose must have done something to piss off Murdoc because he tries to shoot missiles at it, fails, but at least he tried. I really can't explain this song or look into it for some deeper meaning, but it is a really good song in my opinion. It's music like this that I can't help but randomly do a semblance of some messed up dance to, just that good feeling. I feel kinda stupid that I can't come up with anything that makes sense for this, so I'm going to leave you with the message GO FUCKING CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, the song is by the Gorillaz.
So now Readers, what is your song of the day? I encourage you to leave an explanation as well as the song and ur initials or insignia.

This Photo is Proof
Be watchful of what you say to your friends readers, because you can never take it back. And no matter how many times you say that you are sorry, they will never actually forgive you. I couldn't hear the song entirely, but I got the basic meaning to me. Maybe it's just the situation that I'm in right now, but the lines "I know you didn't mean it" make me wonder if the writer was in a similar situation to what I'm in, only roles reversed. If You're reading this, I can only apologize so many times, but whenever I do, I mean it. But what I said, I don't know whether I meant it or not, I don't know if I'm wrong for overreacting or if you're wrong for basically toying with me. You see Readers, I lose control of my anger sometimes. Which is really easy to do when you usually keep all your feelings inside. That also makes you easily hurt. But yes, I do want to "start it all over" and just forget the entire problem. If you are reading this, if you could let me know, thank you, I'm sorry.
I would like to address the label "emo" that I put for this song. Music is classified as emo by the masses because it displays EMOtion. This emotion is usually some sort of regret or sadness, giving emo a bad reputation because some people confuse emo with gothic. Gothic music I hold nothing against, it just kind of sucks that emotional music has to pay for gothic musics bad reputation. So, I call this emo music because to me it conveyed an emotion.
So Readers, and You, what is your song of the day?

Here I Go Again
What do we do when it's time to move on dear Readers? When we're all alone and can't stay where we are? We go. We follow our broken down hearts to the next place. Praying to our God(s) for the strength to continue. That's what this song is about to me. The travellers, the wanderers, those who are just looking for somewhere that they can settle down, find love. Here I Go Again by Whitesnake is the song of the day. We all wander down one familiar road for most of our lives. "Waiting on love's sweet chai tea" as this song puts it. But aren't we all walking on that lonely street of dreams in the first place? No, I'm afraid not all of us are. There are those that this song will never apply to, and perhaps they are the lucky ones. Bound to see the lies of society and believe that they are happy when inside they feel nothing but sadness and regret. The Drones. Those who do not dream. Those who you can't but help fall in love with, but be warned dear Readers, they seek only to convert you. To have you abandone your artistic and literal views of life. I will address my dislike for the Drones another time.
I realize that I have missed a few days, but I don't really have time to go back and find out which ones. I won't be missing tomorrow though, for tomorrow is an important day for my musical life. Wish my luck Readers. Now I must ask you, what's your song of the day?

Hero
Well, the song of the day comes from a slightly old movie soundtrack. The first Spiderman movie in 2001 (probably wrong with the year). The song is NOT performed by Nickleback, but yes the main singer is Chad Kroeger, and his brother does play the bass for the song. The second voice you hear is Josey Scott, who also plays the guitar for the song. So the Song of The Day is Hero by Chad Kroeger feat. Josey Scott. This song could be a love song, that's how I see it at least. It's slow for the most part. In it he speaks of how love is supposed to save us all, whereas he gives a counter-example as if to defy the Heavens. Speaking of how love gave us hatred and killing. Those willing to fight for the things that they love give us that example. But without those willing to fight, where would we be now? He also says that he feels his love for a girl isn't good enough because he's not a "Hero" like some others are, but he shows her he loves her anyway. I believe that deep down we all have some insecurity like that, that we aren't good enough for somebody else's standards of love. But we get over it, just like the song. What if we were the heroes? What if we still weren't good enough? Well then we must become Villains. While the creation of a Villain gives the Hero purpose, gives the Hero a reason to be loved. But where does that leave the rest of us? Not good enough. That's where. Chad Kroeger didn't wait for a Hero to write the song did he? No, so why should we wait for someone to come help us with our problems? Now I ask you readers, what is your song of the day?

Situations
THE SITUATIONS ARE IRRELEVANT NOW! SHE LOVES THE WAY THAT I TEASE, I LOVE THE WAY THAT SHE BREATHES! I TOUCHED HER(OHHHH) SHE TOUCHED MY (AHHH) IT WAS THE CRAZIEST THING! I LOVE THE GIRLS WHO HATE TO LOVE BECAUSE THEIR JUST LIKE ME!!
Me and a few friends of mine did the song Situations by Escape the Fate for a competition at our school tonight. We didn't win, but a ton of people knew the song and (more importantly) what it's about. There's really only one way to interpret this song, SEX IN HIGH SCHOOL! Or if you haven't seen the video, SEX IN GENERAL!! Seriously though, it's an awesome song, and I'm kind of glad we didn't win. The song was one of the bands older pieces, back when Ronnie was still their main singer. (Ronnie is currently doing time for involvement in a murder, so my sources say) Now they have Craig (don't know the last name, but he was in Buckcherry), and he has done a record with them already. The album is called This War Is Ours, I do encoourage you to go out and buy it. I would prefer it if you went out and bought the Dying is Your Latest Fashion album instead though. That is the CD that has this song on it as well as ( I might be mistaken) Not Good Enough For The Truth in Cliche. That's it for today. Thanks.
