Stupid MF

I HATE being the only one in my house that knows how to think and act my age. I act (almost) like every other teenage boy should act without hitting on every person I meet or trying to fuck whatever moves. Aside from the rest of my "Family". The Stepfather acts like a 12 year old, The Mother acts like a mindless fucking machine, and the 12 year old throws fits like the baby does.
I HATE THESE PEOPLE. So a song to describe you 3, Stupid MF by Mindless Self Indulgence, the main line being "YOU STUPID MOTHERFUCKER"

Readers, what's you song of the day?

Short Stories with Tragic Endings

This is the song you told me to look up before you left. And I did. And now it's here, I'm still in Florida, and you're there. Now, I've probably already brought this to attention, but the end of the song is the part that kills. Here's the lyrics from 6:00 to the end.

Did you ever look, did you ever see that one person,
and the subtle way that they do these things and it hurts so much?
So much like choking down the embers of a great blaze.
It's that moment when your eyes seem to spread aspersions
and to scream confessions at the insipid sky parting clouds.
You let this one person come down in the most perfect moment.
And it breaks my heart to know the only reason you are here now is a reminder of what I'll never have...
I'll never have... I'll never...
Standing so close knowing that it kills me to breathe you in...
standing so close knowing that it kills me to breathe you in...
But this table for one has become bearable.
I now take comfort in this, and for this, I cherish you.
Did you ever look, did you ever see that one person
and the subtle way that they do these things and it hurts so much?
So much like choking down the embers of a great blaze.
It's that moment when your eyes seem to spread aspersions
and to scream confessions at the insipid sky parting clouds.
And you let this one person come down...come down...I cherish you...I cherish you.
Just say that you would do the same for me...

just say you would do the same for me...
just say you would do the same...
just say you would do the same, for me
For as much as I love Autumn,
I'm giving myself to Ashes.

The part that bothers me is in red (I like red, it's a good color, never lets you down.). Mainly cuz I don't understand what it means, if it means anything that you told me to look it up before you left. If it was some sort of leaving message, or just a song. Either way, I shouldn't've looked it up.

Fuck, you're not even gonna read this anyway.

The Rock Show

So last night I went to the As I Lay Dying concert in Pensacola at the American Legion, it was FUCKING AMAZING! And today my neck and right leg hurt really bad and my mom wants me to do yard work as soon as I wake up, good luck with that. I got right up next to the stage and ran into the "Pit Of Death" (which is apparently when everyone starts violently running at eachother, I got shoved halfway across the floor!). But the reason for yesterdays Song Of The Day being The Rock Show by Blink-182 is simple, I met a girl at the rock show, and I can't remember her name. That's really the only reasoning behind it, so back to the concert.
We almost missed the first opening band entirely after waiting in line to get tickets and get in, and i can only remember the name of the band that played before As I Lay Dying, which was After The Burial, because they were my favorite.
Got to go now, still haven't had breakfast and didn't actually have dinner last night so I'm gonna go have some cereal.
Before I go, what was your song of the day yesterday?

Last Call Casualty

So, this girl that I really like (I HATE the word love, so I don't say it) is moving (fuckin military), and I never actually told her how I feel about her. Stupid right? So this song is like my Last Call Casualty. Or rather, an apology if I get drunk and call her in the middle of the night. So I have to ask, what holds you back Readers? What keeps you from doing everything you want and saying everything you want to say? The law? Low-self-esteem? Your dignity? FUCK IT ALL. When that last chance comes to say whatever you need to whoever needs to hear it, don't let it pass. Take the chance, take the leap of faith that you won't get slapped across the face and never see them again.
Getting off topic, the song of the day is Last Call Casualty by Bowling For Soup.

So readers, what's your question of the day?

This Should Have Been A Love Song

I support independent artists. My friend loaned me her ipod to copy a song she got from some band over skype. The Band is Lost Without Lacie, and the song is This Should Have Been A Love Song, from their not-yet-released album That's What She Said. There's absolutely nothing about this band on the internet right now, which greatly disappoints me. I tried copying this song to my itunes, but it wouldn't play, no sound even comes out if you try to play it on mediago. Itunes sucks, but whenever Apple releases another update, I lost my entire library and have to copy all my discs back on to my computer. GAY. Song of the Day is This Should Have Been A Love Song by Lost Without Lacie, and now you know about a new band coming up in the future. If itunes would fucking play the song, then I would be listening to it on my computer while typing this, but no.

FUCK YOU ITUNES!!!!

So readers, what's your song of the day? Any independent artists out there, GET RECORDING AND SEND ME FREE SHIT!!! Thanks!

Last Train Home

I'm pretty sure I've done this song before, but like I said, it's a new year. This post goes out to every broken heart on the internet. To those that now know, even when you think you're right, sometimes you have to give to take. There are some of you that see the one responsible for your singing EVERY DAY, which fucking sucks. And to the one that I see every day, I wonder if you're reading, and wonder if you're listening when I'm singing cuz I'm going nowhere.
We sing because we've got a reason to fall in love
We sing if it's not enough
and we sing if we've got a reason to never fall in love again.
That's just a few reasons why we're singing this song though, there are hundreds, if not thousands more. But I haven't the time to point them all out.
Song of the day is Last Train Home by Lostprophets
Now brokenhearts, what's your song of the day?

Scars

How do you help somebody when they refuse to try and help themselves? You can't. And when you try, they might misinterpret what you're doing. You tear your heart open to help these people, and they don't even try to help you stitch the wound. You're stuck sewing yourself shut. Which is more painful emotionally than it should be if you like the person you're trying to help. Even when you can't help them fix themselves, you can at least say you tried. If you're like me, this happens a LOT. So take my example, and the example of the song. Get shit drunk, and stop caring, and move on with your own life. On this note I'd like to point out that the Sadie Hawkins Dance at our school is coming up if any of you F-dub bastards are reading this, and I want to know what you predict your valentines day song to be. Song of the day is Scars by Papa Roach
As usual readers, what is your song of the day?

Hearless

This is a good song. It's about a guys life after some girl left him. And it's by Fake Problems, and it has a banjo in it, ignoring the fact that this is a ridiculously-close-to-being-country song, it's a good song. 3 minutes and 4 seconds of awesome. When typing up my song of the day posts I usually listen to the song on playback while I'm typing it, but I already know the words to this song. Still listening to it of course, but that's beside the point. This song is awesome because he's obviously trying to send a message about a break-up and how it affected him, but his voice is just so happy in the song, it's hard to believe that it really broke him at all. Song of the Day is Heartless by Fake Problems, a band that is currently touring and last I checked is in Ohio I think (?).
Even though nobody ever answers my question, song and artist along with a brief description of why it is your song of the day with your initials or handle at the end, what is your song of the day readers?
