Find Out Who Your Friends Are

I don't do a lot of country on here. But this one fits my mood as of lately. Being forced to move sucks. As any military child will tell you (or anybody who's ever been evicted). But I think it's when you're moving that you find out who your friends are, so that's the song of the day. Find Out Who Your Friends Are by Tracey Lawrence. I don't think I've ever heard any other song by this guy, but that doesn't matter. A bunch of my friends stopped talking to me when they found out I was moving. Even back when school was still in (in the last few weeks that is), as soon as they found out, I was back to where I was 4 years ago (minus the anger problems and paranoia.). But hey, some of you can relate huh?

Worst Day Ever

"I feel like I'm living the worst day, I feel like you're gone. And every day is the worst day ever."
A song about missing someone. Perfect. Anyway, my "parents" dyed my hair black today. It's cool. Gonna spike it like fucking Goku from Dragon Ball Z. And not the newer ones towards the Boo Saga, the old ones. Before the art got changed. Winning? I think so.
Readers, what's your song of the day? Mine is Worst Day Ever by Simple Plan.

Music=Life, Me=Missing her a bit more than I should be, considering.

Twilight Zone

Song of The Week is Twilight Zone by Golden Earring. Because it's like I've stepped into the Twilight Zone. All of a sudden my mom is a major bitch and Mike is the one that I get along with. I mean really, is the move affecting them that badly? It shouldn't. My mother has no friends and doesn't socialize to begin with. Mike's in the military and chances are he'll see all of his pals again. All of my sisters friends are out of the country so I still don't see what she's bitching about. It's like she has some permanent form of PMS or something. I don't really give a fuck either way. After my "friends" found out I'm moving 90% of them stopped communicating with me (90% out of a group of ten people. I only count the ones in the surrounding city areas.) But fuck 'em. I'm in the Twilight Zone, the fact that I'm awake right now should prove that. I'll have the song of the day up later. For those of you that don't know the song, look it up. NOW. DO IT. Okay.

My December

Song of the Day is My December by Linkin Park. Not sure why, it just feels right today. I looked it up to see if I could find a music video (on my phone, still need to replace my laptops sound card.) but all i could find was one done to the ending of Kingdom Hearts II. So, just thought I'd do this. I was submitting my review of the inFamous games and figured I'd do this.

Let There Be Rock

In the beginning
Back in nineteen fifty five
Man didn't know 'bout a rock 'n' roll show
'N all that jive
The white man had the schmaltz
The black man had the blues
No one knew what they was gonna do
But Tschaikovsky had the news, he said

Let there be light, and there was light
Let there be sound, and there was sound
Let there be drums, there was drums
Let there be guitar, there was guitar, ah
Let there be rock

And it came to pass
That rock 'n' roll was born
All across the land every rockin' band
Was blowin' up a storm
And the guitar man got famous
The business man got rich
And in every bar there was a superstar
With a seven year itch
There was fifteen million fingers
Learnin' how to play
And you could hear the fingers pickin'
And this is what they had to say

Let there be light, sound, drums, 'n guitar, ah
Let there be rock

One night in a club called the Shakin' Hand
There was a 42 decibel rockin' band
And the music was good
And the music was loud
And the singer turned and he said to the crowd

Let there be rock

A friend and I were discussing the evolution of music. what we came up with was this. It all came from the Blues. From the blues came Country and Rock. The only two that seemed to branch out and continue to live. Rock grew into many subgenres and stuck it's metaphorical roots into every possible industry and type of music we have today. Country just sat there. Not changing that much. Getting louder and more drunk. Let me go off on why Rock is superior for a second. What are all country songs about? If sang by a guy, it's about beer, chicks, God, or their family. If it's sang by a chick, it's about a guy. And what has country music given the nonreligious people or those that don't drink or don't have a relationship? Headaches from shitty music. So I say, Let There Be Rock. Because rock music has evolved, has progressed. From all around the world people have listened and translated and bettered the music. Go anywhere in the world and all the country music will sound the same. Some foreign shit came on and sounded almost exactly like a Toby Keith song (with the exception of the language barrier). But go somewhere else in the world and they'll have their own kind of Rock music not overly similar to what you listen to but just enough to be in the same genre. Example, why is it called Norwegian Black Metal? Because it's from Norway and it doesn't sound like American Black Metal. We have more of a selection in Rock than you do in Country. "Oh well Johnny Cash..." Johnny Cash was considered Rock music in his time. Another testament to our evolution through the years. I almost attacked my best friend for calling the Eagles Country music. Somebody tried bringing up the Beatles. Apparently they were rock too. But their music was shitty and insulted the genre. It's like Seperating Sci-fi from Horror. Eventually though, it all comes together. A Country Rocker. Now I don't know what you think about him, but the only station I ever hear Kid Rock's music on is a country station. Which disappoints me. I feel he has more of a rough Rock sound than country but that's just my opinion. So yeah. Song of The Day is Let There Be Rock by AC/DC. Can't believe this is the first AC/DC song on here. WOW.

So Far Away

Has anyone you know ever really fucked you up? Mentally I mean, I really don't give a shit if they beat you half to death in the school yard. I'm talking like, close to insanity messed you up. Me and this girl I used to know, we dreamed. We just let our minds go and wrote down everything and told eachother way more than anyone should know about another person. The more we talked, the more we thought. The more we thought, the deeper our conversations got. The deeper our conversations got, the closer we became. Eventually, I told her what I actually felt (not "love", in middle school that's just a word used to get what you want. which is fucked up.). She shuts me out, and the next week is dating one of my best friends. She was the first one to do that to me, and it messed me up for some reason. Looking back now, it shouldn't have done anything. But it did. and for the year, I was cold, precise, and unless it involved my school, music, or choking somebody out on the wrestling mat, I didn't care. It was a guard I guess. But after that things just seemed to crash. So the way I see it now is that it can all be traced back to her. Her and the others that did the same thing to me. Song of The Day is So Far Away by Crossfade. I've changed, and none of them will see that. Maybe I'm just looking for somebody to blame in my current mood, but whatever, I needed a song for today anyway. Anyway, if any of you are reading this, piss off. I'm happy with where I am and who I know. Happy with what my future could hold and who I could be. Thanks.
Readers, now that you've dealt with another useless outburst, what's your song of the day?

Simple and Clean (planitB remix)

Song of the Day is Simple and Clean (planitB remix) by Utada Hikaru. Not because it means anything special, but because all the Kingdom Hearts games have used her music. The first Kingdom Hearts used Simple and Clean, Kingdom Hearts II had Sanctuary, Kingdom hearts Re:coded again used Simple and Clean. 358/2 Days used Sanctuary again. But my favorite is the planitB remix of Simple and Clean used for the beginning video of Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep for the Playstation Portable (PSP) handheld. I don't know if you've played any of the Kingdom Hearts games, but when you get into it..... The story is fucking confusing. What I understand is that the Heartless have hearts and no bodies. The Nobody's have bodies but no hearts. If you're playing the games currently and don't want everything ruined for you, leave. Cuz i'm gonna be a dick today and explain the games as I understand them so far. Forget Re:Coded though, Re:Coded and Chain of Memories are pretty useless unless your looking for filler between I and II. Which is pretty irrelevant in the end. Roxas is Sora's Nobody. let's get that out of the way. In the beginning of Kingdom Hearts II the reason that the Nobodies stole all the pictures that had Roxas in them is because Roxas was originally a member of Organization XIII, and they aren't supposed to be seen in other worlds because the Nobodies shouldn't even exist. But they do. So the members of Organization XII want to open Kingdom Hearts (Which has been done twice before) so that they can gain Hearts and truly exist. Roxas was the first member Organization XIII to have the power of the Keyblade. Xion was the second. Xion looks almost exactly like Kairi except she has black hair. I'm not far enough into 358/2 yet to find out if I'm right or how that would happen. New topic. In Birth By Sleep Terra passes on the power of the Keyblade to Riku when you visit the Destiny Islands. (Fun fact! Ventus was from Destiny Islands. He's referred to as "The boy who left" by Riku when you visit as Terra). Aqua recognizes the light in young Kairi and gives her magic to protect her from the Unversed. Nothing really happens to Sora, I'm disappointed because I still don't know why he has a Keyblade. I'm just going with he was "chosen". Later, when Xehanort takes over Terra's body, He looks like Xemnas (Ansem/Riku. Xemnas/Ansem/Riku is Xehanorts nobody and the leader of Organization XIII.) Wait, just looked it up and the reason that Xion has a keyblade and looks like Kairi is because she is an "imperfect replica of Roxas.... leaked from Sora's memories and halting his progression of gaining them back..... resembles Kairi as she is Sora's strongest memory"GODSDAMMIT. Everyone apparently sees her as somebody else. At some point Roxas sees her as Sora and everone else in the Organization sees her as a hooded doll. what the fuck. Too confused to continue//////////////
