Honor For All

So as I mentioned a month or so ago, I got the game Dishonored for Christmas. I beat it (with high chaos, meaning I didn't do stealth very well.) within days of getting it. I LOVE this games soundtrack. The background music, the combat music, even the voice acting, but my absolute favorite song from the game is the song played at the ending credits. Honor for All by Jon and Daniel Licht. You may recognize the second name from other game soundtracks (ex. Silent Hill Book of Memories).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROCKET!!!! I know you won't be reading this but fuck it I'm writing this to you anyway. Well, in a way don't I kinda write all of them to you sorta? No? Whatever.

So yeah, happy birthday love <3 Sorry I'm not there, but some prick judge decided that it's a good idea to separate two people who left to be together, not like that's a reason to try again or anything. (I take a small bit of pleasure in knowing that this all goes back to the judge. Just a small bit though, because there's a chance this may come back to bite me in the ass, and that never feels good.)
Anyway, despite how sappy this is gonna sound; This song always makes me think of you. No matter how low I get, some song like this comes on and thoughts of us come back and I'm smiling again. Sanctuary (After The Battle)

So those of you who are my friends on Facebook, which would require you knowing who I am which unsettles me a tad bit, know that I recently (yesterday) acquired a copy of the greatest Playstation 2 game ever (Kingdom Hearts 2). So I got the game, and yesterday afternoon I started a new game. Since then, that profile is now a lvl 58, I've unlocked the Secret Ending, and done pretty much everything but make the Ultima Weapon, which is pissing me off. Anyway, the Song of The Day is the credits music for Kingdom Hearts 2; Sanctuary (After The Battle) by Utada Hikaru. That's all. Back to gaming.

99 Red Balloons

So yeah, I can't sleep. Mum was just down here bothering me about getting up to bed though, so this one will be quick, no ranting tonight. At least I hope not.
The Song of The Day is 99 Red Balloons by Goldfinger. Again, I remember Rocket and I half-singing-half-reciting it this one time. I can't remember if it was when we were making a cake at her place (which I didn't even get to try!) or our last picnic in the park though. I think the park one was when I sang Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold as she spun me around on the "Spinning Circle of Dizzyness and Death" (y'know, those things that you lie in the middle of in the playground and have your friends spin you till you puke. I don't know what they're actually called.) no wait, that wasn't Nightmare, it was some A7X song though so whatever.
When I first heard this song I didn't really get it, so I was talking to my mum about it and her understanding of it is that every balloon represents a dream or hope. As he's letting the balloons go off, he's letting go of the hopes and dreams he held in the past. Which is kinda sad...
Anyway, the song is a cover of some German song, 99 Luft Balons by.... well shit, I can't remember who played it originally. But the original sounds all funky, in a good way.

Help Is On The Way

Do you know what my top things that I hate in this world are? Well I don't have time to write down the list, but one of those things is relying on other people, especially when those people think that I rely on them because I don't know what to do or what needs to be done. I know exactly what needs to be done, I don't need you to tell me what needs to get done, I need you to get off your ass and get it done because you're the only ones who can! Far Away

I wen through a couple songs today. Picture by Kid Rock (featuring Sheryl Crow), Paralyzed by The Used, Mad World by Alex Parks (lots of different versions of this song, but she does it best. Until Sarah of Walk Off The Earth does a cover. Then she'll do it best. Until Rocket agrees to sing it for me, I'm sure I could get her to sing it for me). Anyway, the Song of The Day is Far Away by Nickelback, take it how you want it, it's a sad, meaningful song.
Moral of the story is; I miss Rocket.
But hey, here's the good news! That no-contact order is about to be shot up! METAPHORICALLY. Gods, maybe I shouldn't make gun/bullet/shooting jokes with all the recent gun issues, what with people trying to nullify the 2nd amendment and the constitution in general. But hey, fuck the principles that American society was founded on right?

People Are Strange

So if I had any readers I imagine somebody would be pissed about me calling this song alternative, but I don't really know where else to put it. Doesn't really have that rock feel to it.
Anyway, the Song of The Day is People Are Strange by Doors, I wasn't sure if the bands official name is The Doors or just Doors everywhere I look it's different. Reasoning for this being my SOTD is that I got to take a crazy test today! Find out just what's wrong with my personality, I tell you there's nothing more gratifying than being judged by doctors and legal-pricks. Nope, just nothing like it. (CAN YOU TASTE THE SARCASM?)
