Lost Woods Dubstep

So today was my going away party. Not as fun as I thought it would be. My friend Jordon came though, and we ended up walking around. Doing nothing. As usual. Pretty much what we do when we go over to Victors house too. But this time we went on a nature trail. ADVENTURE! Not really. Was pretty boring. Called The Girl while we were out walking. My phone battery was dying and texting takes too long to actually form a conversation. Really though, I just wanted to talk to her instead of texting. Yes my battery was low, but that's just an excuse. Song of The Day is more of a beat. It's the Lost Woods Dubstep by Ephixa. It's a remix of the old Lost Woods, Legend of Zelda theme. It's pretty badass.

New Divide

Today sucks. Couldn't get a ride to go anywhere, my friends mom thinks I smoke so she doesn't let him come over to my house, and all we had for dinner was some shitty leftovers of 3 day old spaghetti noodles with no sauce. Maybe I'm just bitching. But two good things happened today; I got barbeque pizza (fuck you google chrome, dictionary.com says it's spelled with a Q not a C. HA), and I heard my 3rd favorite Linkin Park song on the radio. New Divide. So just because it lifted my mood a slight bit during a bad day, the Song of The Day is New Divide by Linkin Park. This is one of the songs that will always improve my day. Readers, what songs will always lift your spirits during a bad time? Everyone has a few, or maybe even just one. If music doesn't make you happy, you are a sad person and probably have nothing real to live for. Anyway, I'm going to go complain about my day to someone else. Summer of '69

Had an amazing time with my friends this weekend, these past two days probably made my summer, even with me moving. The Song of The Day is Summer of '69 by Bowling For Soup, while originally by Bryan Adams. If you ignore the obscure fact that the song is entirely about the 69 position in sex, the song is about an unforgettable summer. The movers come next week, so I'm packing up my music shit and preparing to take my show on the road for a week. But I'll still be posting whenever I can during our move. The reason I chose the cover of this song is simple, I like it better. And the original song reminds me of someone I'd like to forget. WOW, the bass from my amp is shaking my bed and my bookshelf. Let me turn that down real quick.... Okay. Anyway, back to the weekend. Yesterday me and my friends from our original band (Broken Sanity) walked around and scared customers away from a local Target store. We then went down to the Boardwalk on Destin Harbor. My friends Dad picked us up and we then went to Baytowne Warf. KICKASS PLAYGROUND! I don't care how old you are, Tag is one of the most fun games ever. What's better than tag? PARKOUR TAG. Vaulting over children and small walls and fences. Failing a 7 foot drop tag from above. It was badass. Then today we went out to Crab Island under Destin Bridge and watched the Chicken Fights. One girl almost got her shirt ripped off! We swam around a bit, then my eyes were on fire from the saltwater. So we got goggles and did some underwater submission fighting. I lost twice and (almost) won once. We all played Everywhere I Go by Hollywood Undead on our guitars and sang (It sounds much better with 4 guitars instead of just one, sorry Charlie Scene, but I think you were just outdone on your guitar playing. again.) We're all hanging out again tomorrow so we can finish our cover and the MK Rap.

Just Refrain

How many of you use Pandora radio? I do, I also listen to a band called Orange Avenue, and until recently they weren't on Pandora radio. So todays song is Just Refrain by Orange Avenue, not because it relates to my day so far, but because another killer artist has been added to Pandora's database. If you're still reading this and haven't already made an Orange Avenue station, you disappoint me. DO IT NOW.
