Song of The Year/2010 Playlist

Start off by saying hope your new years eve is better than mine. Fucking pathetic this is. Sitting at home, doing nothing. My mum is almost passed out on the couch listening to her audio book on the PS3, lied to about a party I know is going on right now (but that was expected). Song of the day is In The End by Linkin Park. Song of the Year is High School Never Ends by Bowling For Soup. Top ten of my 2010 Playlist is as follows. These songs describe my year almost perfectly.

-Harder Than You Know by Escape The Fate
Fell, hard.

-How Long by Hinder
Got rejected at every chance she had, for a dude that looks just like me. Happened 3 times this year with 3 different chicks.

-Rock Star-Nickleback
Started a band, started dreaming again.

-Somewhere I Belong by Linkin Park
Wherever I am I'm not wanted, wherever I'm wanted I'm kept from.

-Goodbye by LOGAN
The one chick I actually "loved" moved.

-Faint by Linkin Park
I WON'T BE IGNORED MOTHERFUCKERS

-1 Trillion $ by Anti-Flag
Realized the government is fucking retarded

-No Sleep Till Brooklyn by Beastie Boys
Had some pretty kickass times with my friends. inside jokes, trashing politics, sucking at video games.

-Young by Hollywood Undead
Youth is all we've got that's temporary.

-If Today Was Your Last Day by Nickleback
Stopped caring about consequences, aside from murder that is.

A few other songs? Fuck you guys! Go through the blog archives! Wish I had a better year, and from the looks of it, 2011 is gonna be worse, so, have fun, get laid, smoke somthin, do whatever you gotta do to be happy, just Shut up and Smile, Get Stoned This Afternoon, or Faint, just don't go lookin for a 45. Remember

Harder Than You Know

When you think you love someone, it's hard to let them go. Hard to say goodbye, and hard to leave. When you want to let go, it get's even harder. This song, to me, describes an experience that not many can say they have. "Tis better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all". Losing it SUCKS. But the song of the day is Harder Than You Know by Escape the Fate, off from the This War is Ours album. I couldn't find a video but people seemed to like it, by the fact that there are like 50 vids made up of all typed up lyrics and the song. Oddly enough though, it's not on their top five most popular on itunes. I like this song. So now readers, what's your song of the day?

I Am Santa Claus/Christmas Don't be Late

It's CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So here's an awesome Christmas song, and another. The first one is I am Santa Claus by Bob Rivers, first time I heard it was on the radio while my mother was in the bank getting my christmas present a few days ago. It's a parody (or remake, whatever you want to call it) of Iron Man by Black Sabbath, the band that Ozzy Ozbourn was originally in with Zakk Wylde before they left to work on their own stuff. Later Zakk went on to form the Black Label Society. Christmas Don't be Late is an original song by The Chipmunks, meaning Alvin and the Chipmunks original incarnation. The original cartoon and characters were given the credit of the song rather than the actual songwriters and people that did the chipmunks voices and played the instruments. I haven't done the proper research to divulge the names of these people, but you'll know when I know.

until then my friends, and that guy on the computer at McDonalds, Merry Christmas, to the Jews Happy Hanukkah, Atheists have a nice day and you're awesome.

21 Guns

When the pain outweighs the prize, when you have no real reason to continue to fight, and when you're just sick of something, why continue? Somebody who used to be important in my life has been constantly antagonizing me and my friends, somebody who was like a father to me. I didn't want to give up on them, but then I got this message
"If you insist on deleting my comments, you should just delete me from your contacts."
This is reffering to facebook comments. He was insulting one of my friends and in order to avoid conflict I deleted his comments. He got all pissy and decided to post something to my wall which I deleted as well. Then he sent me the message. When you have something that is no longer worth fighting for, why keep fighting? Now I ask you readers, what's your song of the day?

No Sleep Till Brooklyn

Ok, before you go off insulting the Beastie Boys, they're good. The video is fucking retarded, aside from the guitar solo. I'm not going to try to explain a meaning for this song, because it's pretty straightforward. They party, drink, rap, steal, smoke, and have sex with whores. Without sleeping (until they reach Brooklyn that is.) Why they want to go to Brooklyn, I have no idea, why they aren't sleeping, can't help with that either. Anyway, this is my song of the day, not sure why though. Holiday song soon to come. That being said, What's your song of the day readers?

Master Exploder

The song of the Day is Master Exploder by Tenacious D. I tried singing this, and the results were not that great. This is one of my favorite songs though and it made my day failing at the vocals. Immediate "props" (whatever the hell that means) to anyone that can ace those vocals on expert on Rock Band. From the Pick of Destiny movie, and I'm pretty sure in the scene the song is played Megan Fox fakes an orgasm. But whatever. What's your song of the day readers?

Waiting for The End

This is the song of the week. It's Waiting for the End by Linkin Park from their new album. Here's the lyrics.

"This is not the end, this is not the beginning
Just a voice like a riot rocking every revision
But you listen to the tone and the violent rhythm
Though the words sound steady something's empty within them
We say yeah with fists flying up in the air
Like we're holding onto something that's invisible there
Cause we're living at the mercy of the pain and the fear
Until we dead it, forget it, let it all disappear"

Waiting for the end to come
Wishing I had strength to stand
This is not what I had planned
It's out of my control
Flying at the speed of light
Thoughts were spinning in my head
So many things were left unsaid
It's hard to let you go

I know what it takes to move on
I know how it feels to lie
All I want to do
Is trade this life for something new
Holding on to what I haven't got

Sitting in an empty room
Trying to forget the past
This was never meant to last
I wish it wasn't so

I know what it takes to move on
I know how it feels to lie
All I want to do
Is trade this life for something new
Holding on to what I haven't got

What was left when that fire was gone
I thought it felt right but that right was wrong
All caught up in the eye of the storm
And trying to figure out what it's like moving on
And I don't even know what kind of things I said
My mouth kept moving and my mind went dead
So I'm picking up the pieces, now where to begin
The hardest part of ending is starting again"

The next part continues through the final "rap section"

"All I want to do
Is trade this life for something new
Holding on to what I haven't got
I'm holding on to what I haven't got
I'm holding on to what I haven't got"

"This is not the end, this is not the beginning
Just a voice like a riot rocking every revision
But you listen to the tone and the violent rhythm
Though the words sound steady something's empty within them
We say yeah with fists flying up in the air
Like we're holding onto something that's invisible there
Cause we're living at the mercy of the pain and the fear
Until we dead it, forget it let it all disappear "

So that's one of their new songs. It's the song of the week. Song of the day will be up in a few minutes. So now readers, what's your song of the week?

This is not a song.

Sorry been missing some days. Stupid distractions, haven't had a lot of time to post these days. Been meaning to catch up on this and cover the days I've missed. I've been noticing that some days I just can't put a song to. It's usually the really good days. But anyway, song of the week will be up later with the song of the day. One Step Closer

OK, here's the reason this is the song of the day. There's this idiot at my school that has to argue about everything with everyone. Even when he knows he's wrong. It's really pissing me off. We're in stagecraft and even though he's lower than everyone else in command in class, he still tries to boss me around. He even started a fight and got his ass kicked. Still generally pissy and won't shut the hell up about anything, he says one more thing in an attempt to get me to do something without asking politely, I'm gonna lose it. So song of the day is One Step Closer by Linkin Park. Because "I'm about to break". Got to get this dude to realize that he has no authority over anybody in the class, much less the teacher. But whatever you know, he tries starting anything with me in class, I'm gonna let him make first contact and repeatedly stab him. Why hurt my hands? Anyway, what's your song of the day Readers?

Monster

You know how sometimes you just can't stand what you've become, how it feels to know who you are and who you should be. In a way, that's how I feel now. I know how I want to be, and how somebody very important to me wants me to be, but that's not how I am. Here's the lyrics.

"The secret side of me, I never let you see
I keep it caged but I can't control it
So stay away from me, the beast is ugly
I feel the rage and I just can't hold it

It's scratching on the walls, in the closet, in the halls
It comes awake and I can't control it
Hiding under the bed, in my body, in my head
Why won't somebody come and save me from this, make it end?

I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin
I must confess that I feel like a monster
I hate what I've become, the nightmare's just begun
I must confess that I feel like a monster

I, I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster

My secret side I keep hid under lock and key
I keep it caged but I can't control it
'Cause if I let him out he'll tear me up, break me down
Why won't somebody come and save me from this, make it end?

I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin
I must confess that I feel like a monster
I hate what I've become, the nightmare's just begun
I must confess that I feel like a monster

I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin
I must confess that I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster

It's hiding in the dark, it's teeth are razor sharp
There's no escape for me, it wants my soul, it wants my heart
No one can hear me scream, maybe it's just a dream
Maybe it's inside of me, stop this monster

I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin
I must confess that I feel like a monster
I hate what I've become, the nightmare's just begun
I must confess that I feel like a monster

I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin
I must confess that I feel like a monster
I've gotta lose control, he something radical
I must confess that I feel like a monster

I, I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster"

There ya go. Now I ask you readers, what's your song of the day?

Almost

"I almost got drunk at school at 14 where I almost made out with the homecoming queen
Who almost went on to be Ms.Texas
But lost to a slut with much bigger breastests
I almost dropped out to move to L.A.
Where I was almost famous for almost a day

And I almost had you
But I guess that doesn't cut it
Almost loved you
I almost wish you woulda loved me too

I almost held up a grocery store
where I almost did 5 years and then 7 more
cause I almost got popped for a fight with a thug
Cause he almost made off with a bunches of drugs
That I almost got hooked on cause you ran away
And I wish I would've had the nerve to ask you to stay

And I almost had you
But I guess that doesn't cut it
Almost had you
And I didn't even know it

You kept me guessin
and now I'm destined to spend my time missing you
I almost wish you would've loved me too

Here I go thinkin bout all the things I could of done
I'm gonna need a forklift cause all the package weighs a ton.
I know that we had our problems
I can't remember one

I almost forgot to say something else
But if I can't fit it in I'll keep it all to myself
I almost wrote a song, about you today
But I tore it all up and I threw it away

And I almost had you
But I guess that doesn't cut it
Almost had you
And I didn't even know it
You kept me guessin and now I'm destined to spend my time missin you
I almost wish you would've loved me to"

I NEED TO SEE HER AGAIN.

Hero of War

I like Rise Against. For several reasons. The first of which being their music obviously, second, and you have to pay attention for this reason, their videos and songs trash the government. WIN! Now you could make the arguement that without the American government we would still be living under British rule, I could prove you wrong with startling historical accuracy. But that's not what this blog is for. The song of the day is Hero of War by Rise Against. This song gets to me. Because it's true, all the stuff you hear about happening over there in Iraq and Iran and how it's so easy for them to do their job. Those are lies. Or maybe it's true and you're just talking to the wrong people. Now I'm not saying that everything in this song is true, I don't know if the singer as any military experience, but the lyrics and the video kind of piss me off. "A hero of war, is that what they see? Just medals and scars, so damned proud of me. I brought home this flag, now it gathers dust, but it's a flag that I love, it's the only flag I trust" Patriotic, yet with some apparent resentment towards what he had to go through to bring home that flag. I have to cut this short again. Sorry, but I close with my usual question of what your song of the day is? Leave your song and initials (if you post under anonymous) in the comment section below, and if you want then a short description of why that song fits today. That's all for now Readers.

DT Killer

For the shear awesomeness of this song, it gets song of the day. It's from the Warped Tour 2010 cd. Yeah shut up, I just got it and there's a lot of good music on it so if a lot of music comes from it, get over it. It's by Neo Geo. Looking at the profile on the band from Sugerbuzz Magazine (I don't fucking know, that's what I got from google ok?), Neo Geo apparently means "New Earth", the chick singing is called Rainy, with Andy on bass Ryan on the Keyboard and Nick on drums. I haven't heard of them before the cd, but I'm definitely looking up more of their music later. The song of the day is DT Killer by Neo Geo. The song is about killing some dude because he pissed her off. That's the feeling I'm getting. I'd hate to be this guy. I mean a) he's a dumbass for letting a chick that looks and sounds like Rainy does get mad at him. b) she could probably get the other band members to help her. c) she has a fucking knife! that shits silent!!! Seriously though "I loved you, but who knew, that I loved killing too", that was the thing that hooked me on this song. Then I started looking into the lyrics even more, and I couldn't stop listening to it. It's actually kind of hard not to sing to, even though the singer, Rainy, is a chick. I'm really looking forward to seeing this bands rise. So, now I ask you readers, what's your song of the day?

I got my Warped Tour 2010 cd today! This is the first track on the first disc. It's actually about falling in love at Warped Tour. So the Song of The Day is The Rock Show by Blink-182. This is one of my favorite songs by Blink-182, along with Dammit. Dammit might be a song on here someday. If it fits the mood. Anyway, sorry to cut this one short too, but I'm listening to my new cd so shut the fuck up. Now I ask what's your song of the day readers?

Sooner or Later

"Sooner or later, you're gonna hate her" there's my favorite line from this song. Because it's true. Sooner or later, you (as a guy) will always end up hating whoever you're with. It's inevitable. You can tell your mate, and yourself that you're happy, but you are only lying. So todays song is Sooner or Later by Breaking Benjamin. I don't really think that Breaking Benjamin is metal, but that's what itunes calls them, so I put that in too. So Readers, what's your song of the day?

Undead

"Look up and see the motherfuckin writin on the wall
When you see J3T, 30 deep he's down to brawl
Fuck all Haters I see, because I hate that you breathe
I see you duck you little punk you little fuckin disease!
I got HU tatted on the front of my arms
Boulevard brass knuckles in the back of the car
cause we drunk drive Cadillacs we never go far
When you see us motherfuckers better know who we are
I got one thing to say to punk asses who hate
Motherfuckers don't know but you better watch what you say
from these industry fucks, to these faggot ass punks
You don't know what it takes to get this motherfuckin drunk.
I'm already loud maybe it's a little too late
Johny's takin heads off of all faggots who hate
Cause I'm a god motherfucker there's a price to pay
Yeah I'm god motherfucker
AND IT'S JUDGEMENT DAY!"

The chorus is song by Duece and the "UNDEAD!" in between each repetition is everyone.
Here's the chorus

"You better get up out the way
Tomorrow we'll rise so let's fight today
You know I don't give a fuck what you think or say
Cause we gonna rock this whole place anyway"

second verse is Charlie Scene

"I'm gettin used to this nuisance of fags who badmouth this music
How fuckin stupid and foolish of you to think you can do this
You cowards can't you never will don't even try to pursue it
I took the chance I paid the bill I nearly died for this music
You make me wanna run around pullin my guns out and shit
You temptin me to run my mouth and call you out on this bitch!
How ignorant you gotta be to believe any of this
You need to slit your wrists, get pissed, and go jump off a bridge
What you can't see the sarcasm in the verses I spit?
What you think I just got lucky didn't work for this shit?
Bitch I been workin at this ever since I was a kid
I played a million empty shows for only family and friends
What kind of person would dis a band that deserves to get big?
I'd hate to be that person when my verse comes out their kids lips
that shit's as worse as it gets, this verse is over I quit!
Signed Charlie Scene, ON YOUR GIRLFRIENDS TITS!"

Repeat chorus with UNDEAD intervals.
3rd Verse is done by J-Dog

"White boys with tattoos, we're pointin right at you
Breakin everything r-roudy like a classroom
pack o' wolves cuz we don't follow the rules
and when you're runnin ya mouth our razor blades come out
B-but you already press and y'know I never stress
With Loki DMS, J-Johnny to my left
Got Phantom and the rest who are down to rep the west
Grew up and drive bys, and L.A. gang signs.
so what the fuck you know about bein a gangster?
And what the fuck you know about bein in danger?
You ain't doin this so you know you just talkin shit!
Mad at all of us cuz every song is a FUCKING HIT!!"

the next "verse" is done by J3T with UNDEAD! wherever there's a sequince of periods

"Mothafucka time to ride ride
....
I see you duck when we drive by
....
Mothafucka time to ride ride!
....
Won't you punks just die Die DIE!!
....."

The lyrics pretty much say anything about today that I could with words. Stupid people getting in the way of what could have succeeded. Stupid bitch sisters, annoying "band members", if you can call this bullshit a band. "This verse is over I quit, signed charlie scene on your girlfriends tits!", and you know I will too (signing my name on your girlfriends tits I mean). So what was your song of the day readers?

Pushing Me Away

I know this is like my 4th Linkin Park song, but first of all they're my favorite band. Second, their songs are easy for me to relate to. This is the song of the week. I've been contemplating a decision for a while and finally convinced myself that I'm not doing it for me. So I made the decision yesterday. Which is the reason for yesterdays song, which was Bliss (I don't Wanna Know) by Hinder. Because "it" is over. Whatever the hell it is. Anyway, back to my project. "The sacrifice is never knowing why I never walked away, why I played myself this way. Now I see, you're testing me, pushes me away." or "I've lied to you, the same way that I always do. This is the last smile that I'll fake for the sake of being with you.". I want to talk, I want to see You. But although happiness is by far the easiest emotion to fake, it hurts knowing that I have to pretend to be happy with just talking over the phone. Because although you are afraid to be seen with me, you claim to want to talk to me by text (language of the modern age Readers.), when you explained that it's just to keep yourself from being bored. Damn I'm being distracted. I'm not "leaving", you're pushing me away. So now I ask you Readers, what's your song of the Week? I'll post my song of the Day later.

Someone

Let me start with yesterdays song, it was Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold. IT'S YOUR FUCKIN NIGHTMARE!!!! (R.I.P. The Rev). Todays song is one that I got off from the Warped Tour 2002 (stage 2) album. I've never heard of the artist before this, but I'm definitely looking up more of their music. The song sounds like a message, well all songs are messages in their own way, to somebody that the writer trusted at one time. "You can lie all you want, it doesn't matter much to me. I'm not like you anymore" is part of the chorus, but in the beginning of the song there is a part tha makes me think that the writer was manipulated at one point by the person this song is about. But what if the song is for everybody rather than just one person? What if it's meant to be from somebody we deeply care about, but we lie to far too often? We must change our ways if that is so. I'm running short on time again and I'm really disappointed with this and my last few posts. So now I ask you, what's your song of the day?

The Catalyst

OK, so by now you might be sick of Linkin Park songs. Maybe sick of the band in general. They went through like 4 different genres in their entire band history, not counting the Reanimation album. Reanimation was Linkin Park songs redone by other rap artists. X-ecutioner Style is a mix of a few different Linkin Park songs. Anyway, the song of the day is Linkin Park's newly released single The Catalyst. Also soon to be released on the album coming out, or is it already out? I don't know. Kind of out of the Linkin Park circle right now trying to plan a date that I can go see Ozzy on his new North American Arena tour. Cleveland is a slight possibility. Anyway, back to my point. The Catalyst is a song that I find very interesting. The verses repeat twice each time and again in the chorus in between the bridge. My favorite part is the beginning though. "God bless us everyone, we're a broken people living under loaded gun." The loaded gun would be the government in my opinion. Anyway, I'm kind of short on time, so I'll end by asking you what your song of the day is. Again, reason, song, and initials are appreciated.

19-2000 (Soulchild Remix)

The video for this song was kind of hard to find because of idiots posting the video as 19-200 instead of 19-2000. And when I finally did find one it had Spanish and some Asian language subtitles. Keep in mind that this is the Soulchild Remix and not the original 19-2000. I picked this song because it just instantly puts me in a good mood, unlike it's original. It's the beat and speed and words. I'm pretty sure that at some point Noodle says "get the cool shoe shine" and
2-D says "dance to the funk". The video is the cartoon band in a car with Murdoc driving. I guess that the moose must have done something to piss off Murdoc because he tries to shoot missiles at it, fails, but at least he tried. I really can't explain this song or look into it for some deeper meaning, but it is a really good song in my opinion. It's music like this that I can't help but randomly do a semblance of some messed up dance to, just that good feeling. I feel kinda stupid that I can't come up with anything that makes sense for this, so I'm going to leave you with the message GO FUCKING CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, the song is by the Gorillaz.

So now Readers, what is your song of the day? I encourage you to leave an explanation as well as the song and ur initials or insignia.

This Photo is Proof

Be watchful of what you say to your friends readers, because you can never take it back. And no matter how many times you say that you are sorry, they will never actually forgive you. I couldn't hear the song entirely, but I got the basic meaning to me. Maybe it's just the situation that I'm in right now, but the lines "I know you didn't mean it" make me wonder if the writer was in a similar situation to what I'm in, only roles reversed. If You're reading this, I can only apologize so many times, but whenever I do, I mean it. But what I said, I don't know whether I meant it or not, I don't know if I'm wrong for overreacting or if you're wrong for basically toying with me. You see Readers, I lose control of my anger sometimes. Which is really easy to do when you usually keep all your feelings inside. That also makes you easily hurt. But yes, I do want to "start it all over" and just forget the entire problem. If you are reading this, if you could let me know, thank you, I'm sorry.

I would like to address the label "emo" that I put for this song. Music is classified as emo by the masses because it displays EMOtion. This emotion is usually some sort of regret or sadness, giving emo a bad reputation because some people confuse emo with gothic. Gothic music I hold nothing against, it just kind of sucks that emotional music has to pay for gothic musics bad reputation. So, I call this emo music because to me it conveyed an emotion.
So Readers, and You, what is your song of the day?

Here I Go Again

What do we do when it's time to move on dear Readers? When we're all alone and can't stay where we are? We go. We follow our broken down hearts to the next place. Praying to our God(s) for the strength to continue. That's what this song is about to me. The travellers, the wanderers, those who are just looking for somewhere that they can settle down, find love. Here I Go Again by Whitesnake is the song of the day. We all wander down one familiar road for most of our lives. "Waiting on love's sweet chai tea" as this song puts it. But aren't we all walking on that lonely street of dreams in the first place? No, I'm afraid not all of us are. There are those that this song will never apply to, and perhaps they are the lucky ones. Bound to see the lies of society and believe that they are happy when inside they feel nothing but sadness and regret. The Drones. Those who do not dream. Those who you can't but help fall in love with, but be warned dear Readers, they seek only to convert you. To have you abandone your artistic and literal views of life. I will address my dislike for the Drones another time.

I realize that I have missed a few days, but I don't really have time to go back and find out which ones. I won't be missing tomorrow though, for tomorrow is an important day for my musical life. Wish my luck Readers. Now I must ask you, what's your song of the day?

Hero

Well, the song of the day comes from a slightly old movie soundtrack. The first Spiderman movie in 2001 (probably wrong with the year). The song is NOT performed by Nickleback, but yes the main singer is Chad Kroeger, and his brother does play the bass for the song. The second voice you hear is Josey Scott, who also plays the guitar for the song. So the Song of The Day is Hero by Chad Kroeger feat. Josey Scott. This song could be a love song, that's how I see it at least. It's slow for the most part. In it he speaks of how love is supposed to save us all, whereas he gives a counter-example as if to defy the Heavens. Speaking of how love gave us hatred and killing. Those willing to fight for the things that they love give us that example. But without those willing to fight, where would we be now? He also says that he feels his love for a girl isn't good enough because he's not a "Hero" like some others are, but he shows her he loves her anyway. I believe that deep down we all have some insecurity like that, that we aren't good enough for somebody else's standards of love. But we get over it, just like the song. What if we were the heroes? What if we still weren't good enough? Well then we must become Villains. While the creation of a Villain gives the Hero purpose, gives the Hero a reason to be loved. But where does that leave the rest of us? Not good enough. That's where. Chad Kroeger didn't wait for a Hero to write the song did he? No, so why should we wait for someone to come help us with our problems? Now I ask you readers, what is your song of the day?

Situations

THE SITUATIONS ARE IRRELEVANT NOW! SHE LOVES THE WAY THAT I TEASE, I LOVE THE WAY THAT SHE BREATHES! I TOUCHED HER(OHHHH) SHE TOUCHED MY (AHHH) IT WAS THE CRAZIEST THING! I LOVE THE GIRLS WHO HATE TO LOVE BECAUSE THEIR JUST LIKE ME!!

Me and a few friends of mine did the song Situations by Escape the Fate for a competition at our school tonight. We didn't win, but a ton of people knew the song and (more importantly) what it's about. There's really only one way to interpret this song, SEX IN HIGH SCHOOL! Or if you haven't seen the video, SEX IN GENERAL!! Seriously though, it's an awesome song, and I'm kind of glad we didn't win. The song was one of the bands older pieces, back when Ronnie was still their main singer. (Ronnie is currently doing time for involvement in a murder, so my sources say) Now they have Craig (don't know the last name, but he was in Buckcherry), and he has done a record with them already. The album is called This War Is Ours, I do encoourage you to go out and buy it. I would prefer it if you went out and bought the Dying is Your Latest Fashion album instead though. That is the CD that has this song on it as well as ( I might be mistaken) Not Good Enough For The Truth in Cliche. That's it for today. Thanks.

I Hate Everything About You

First, the past two songs.
Yesterday: Somewhere I belong by Linkin Park
Day Before Yesterday: This Love This Hate by Hollywood Undead

The song of the day is I Hate Everything About You by Three Days Grace. Out of personal experience. When you (think you) love someone, you often overlook their flaws. This is called two things; A crush, or unconditional love. The key is telling the difference. Now it's called a "crush" because in the end you only get crushed. This usually happens after finding out that they are everything you have ever hated, incarnate. Or, you get into a relationship (any relationship) with that person, then they do something that hurts you, unintentional maybe, or intentional (doesn't really matter does it?), and nothing is ever the same between you two because you just LOSE IT (GO FUCKING CRAZY!) Now, after that if you still have feelings for this person you're screwed, get back in the game and find another.
Then we cover the second type of love, which is real. It's when you find the others flaws, and you don't care. You "love" them anyway. But we all know the truth, there is no such thing as unconditional love. This isn't a cheap romance novel where everything turns out right in the end, this is life. This song represents a mix of the two types of "love" that I described to you today dear reader. Figure it out.

Papercut

Song of the Morning is Papercut by Linkin Park. Because we all have those moments where we have those voices telling us to do something we know we shouldn't. We all have those dreams of total control over everyone. That darkness. The music video for this song showed the band in a very meticulously designed apartment, meant to represent the outside of our minds (the face/body), while next to that room was an apartment flooded with darkness, containing some twisted man-like creature. As the song progresses through the video the rooms, or you could call them worlds, start to bleed together. What happens in reality when our inner selves come out? When we can't control ourselves any longer? Choas. You lose yourself and your friends, only to be welcomed into a realm where you truly belong. But nobody wants the world to see who they really are, so we act how society wants us to act in some weak attempt to blend in with the world. No longer do we have to do that my friends. Follow the music, unleash your demon.

When The Music Stops

Music is my life. Literally. I'm a songwriter, singer, guitar player, and I also play the harmonica (don't laugh, it's harder than you might think). My life revolves around music, but where is the point where I need to stop the connection? Where do I keep them seperated? Music is my life, but I don't live in a song. There are songs that will describe certain moments in our lives almost perfectly, and there are songs that will describe our entire lives in a single verse. When The Music Stops is performed by Eminem and other rap artists, and I feel it points out how we take music to seriously/personally. Where does the music stop for you my friends? Because it doesn't for me.

Runaway

Song of the Week is Runaway by Linkin Park. It's just how I feel about the week. One good day out of 7, how are those odds of having another good day? I want to know the answers, no more lies. I want to know the truth instead of wondering why. The truth is often denied to us by those who call themselves our friends because their afraid of hurting us. What they don't realize is that lying hurts more after they find out you lied. I don't know what the band was thinking when they wrote this song, but they obviously didn't want to be wherever the hell they were. I think there is a close relation to this song and Numb, also by Linkin Park. Although the songs were released on different albums and could be compared as different types of music, there seems to be a link between the songs. That's just my interpretation. So, "Bitches and gentleman" what's your song of the week?

Boulevard of Broken Dreams

I have managed to lose, or rather toss out, two friendships in not even 24 hours. Way to go Virus, you amazing fuck up. There is no such word as friend, take a lesson from me, you don't need anybody but yourself. You don't need God/Gods, you don't need friends, family, none of that. In the end, you'll end up sad, hurt, and alone. So today's song is Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day, because whether we like it or not, we're all on our own little lonely road. Hope your song is better than mine. Song of the week later today.

I Will Not Bow

Today's song is I Will Not Bow by Breaking Benjamin. Because it's about being real, that's my interpretation at least. If you pay attention to the words, Ben even says he's not fake. This was the song used to advertise Surrogates, as you can plainly see in the music video. Surrogates, for those of you that don't know, is about a society where the people don't actually live as themselves, but as robotic androids that they link up with to go about their daily lives. One man, played by Bruce Willis, decides "fuck the robot" and finds an entire plot to kill anyone using a surrogate, and shut them down permanently. I won't ruin the end of the movie for you, but you should definitely watch it. So, what's your song of the day? I encourage you to subscribe and let me know what you think should be the song of the day. I welcome any and all (exluding Justin Beiber, Lady GaGa, Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana, or anything else made popular by Disney, Twilight, or Poptarts.) music. Song of the Week will be posted either tomorrow or today, you'll find out.

Just To Get High

A friend of mine was trying to convince me to try "illegal substances" (drugs) today, I told him that I've thought about it but that I've never tried and don't plan to. This song came up on my mix today, and it reminds me of what can happen just by doing something once. So todays song is Just to Get High by Nickleback. It's a pretty basic song, but it's one of my favorites and it sends a message to our youth. Drugs ruin lives. A friend of mine experienced this firsthand. He started doing drugs and showing up to class high. Halfway through the year drug dogs were brought in to check his locker and all of his classes. He dropped out after that and I haven't heard from him since. Drugs fuck people up. So don't do them.

Get Happy

The song of the day is Get Happy by Bowling For Soup, inspired by a friend. I'm not the happiest guy in the world, I'm actually kind of depressed. Ignoring that the song is about a guys girlfriend leaving him, the song title is what applies most today. I'm the type of person that can change their mood just by changing the music, but I prefer the music that describes life how it really is, and the truth is; Life sucks. So with that type of outlook, it's hard to legitimately smile when I want to. So, I need to Get Happy. For those of you out there like me, maybe you need to Get Happy too. So, thanks for reading, again I encourage readers to tell me their song of the day in the comments section below, and please subscribe (I sound like a youtube video lol). If you see a song that you haven't heard, look it up. Later

Day 1

OK, here's the new blog. I didn't put that much effort into the design, so criticize me later. I'll start with the songs tomorrow. I want this to be one of those interactive blogs, so comment on my latest post telling me what your song of the day was that day, hey, you can even start today. I'll organize the posts by the type of music and the artist. So have a nice night.
